USE YOUR VOICE!
It’s more important now than ever for artists to use their gifts to build community, speak up, connect with neighbors and unite in the service of the greater good.
TAP was created by a group of artists who wanted to create opportunities for artists to express opposition to the repressive forces, and work to a better community. We are open to all.
If you are aware of community spaces that would welcome our work or would like to organise an exhibition, let us know. We can provide assistance with organisation, promotion, a process to catalogue and track entries, help with curation and set up.

ABOUT US
TAP was created by a group of artists who wanted to create opportunities for artists to express opposition to the repressive forces, and work to a better community. We are open to all.
For our exhibitions, we accept entries from established artists and people who would not consider themselves to be artists. We ask artists to address an issue or idea. The exhibits are not juried, and there are no entry fees or commissions. Artists who wish to sell items negotiate with the buyer.
So far we have held three shows, two at The Historic Y and one at Mark Rossi’s Studio. Perhaps the Y can serve as a home base, but we hope to have more exhibitions in other venues, and in other parts of the city and community. We do not have funds to pay for fees, and prefer to exhibit in spaces that are generally accessible to the public.
If you are aware of community spaces that would welcome our work or would like to organise an exhibition, let us know. We can provide assistance with organisation, promotion, a process to catalogue and track entries, help with curation and set up.
We also seek new members for our group. We participate in rallies and demonstrations - sometimes appearing in clown costumes. So we would like to recruit artists as well as persons who have experience with clowning, scripting or writing and acting in street theatre and musicians.
Come make work.
Come take up space.
Come be heard.
Come be seen.
