Tucson Artist Protest invites you to be part of a grassroots, community-powered art exhibition.This is a show for anyone creating visual protest, no fees, no commissions!
To participate, read the ‘Exhibit Details’ section below and complete the submission form at the bottom of this page, making sure to include a quality image of your work.
About Us
We’re a loose-knit, unaffiliated group of artists using exhibitions, workshops, and creative protest to grow a movement for change. Come make work. Come take up space. Come be heard. Come be seen.
Exhibit Details
This will be our second exhibition, and since we have limited space, this one will feature a select number of works. Please know that there will be more opportunities if we can’t fit you in this time. The show will be at Mark Rossi’s Studio; 2415 N. Fontana, in Tucson’s Keystone Heights neighborhood. Submissions must be received by Jan 2nd. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be on or before Jan 4th. The submission form is at the bottom of this page. Artwork Guidelines
One piece per artist
Max size: 3D: 12” wide x 12” high x 12” deep
Max size: 2D: 11” wide x 14” high
Submit high-quality JPEG (around 1500 pixels wide) with the submission form
If you were in the last exhibition, please submit different work this time
2D work must be ready to hang
No insurance provided.
Sales are allowed, but artists must handle their own sales directly.
Exhibit Dates: January 10-24
Artwork Drop-off: January 6, 1-5 PM
Opening Event: January 10, 6-8 PM
