Tucson Artists Transform The Historic Y into a Hub of Resistance and Connection
TUCSON, AZ — Tucson Artists Protest is proud to announce the upcoming opening of Use Your Voice! Expression Against Repression #3, a grassroots exhibition hosted at the landmark Historic Y. This third installment is a testament to creative defiance and its power to spark personal and social change.
Art as an Act of Resistance and Care
The exhibition centers on work that speaks back to repression in all its forms; systemic, cultural, internal, and imagined. Moving beyond mere aesthetics, the collection celebrates the power of local artists to witness the present moment, speak their truth, and find strength in shared experience.
Growing Momentum and Community
The response to this year’s exhibition has been profound. With over 40 artists already confirmed, the event is shaping up to be a significant gathering, reflective of Tucson’s creative spirit.
"We are thrilled to see such a strong turnout. This exhibit is about more than just hanging work on a wall; it’s about the deep meaning found in building community. When artists come together to support one another, they create a foundation of collective care that extends far beyond the gallery."
About Us
